What is a sexual behavior?
Sexual behavior involves intercourse between a woman and man for her children's genetics (i.e., procreation).
What is a provisional behavior?
Provisional behavior is an organization of sexual behavior related to provisioning, which an action of providing resources to another thing.
Sexually provisional behaviors refer to behaviors of reproduction involving provisioning. For example, a woman provides for herself and her children with sleep, food, and shelter.
What is the difference between sex as a sexual behavior and sex as a provisional behavior?
The difference between sex as a sexual behavior and sex as a provisional behavior is
- sex as a sexual behavior involves intercourse between a woman and man for her children's genetics (i.e., procreation)
- sex as a provisional behavior involves intercourse between two humans for provisions,
where provisions may include but are not limited to, money, time, food, protection, and offensive capabilities.
An example of sex as a provisional behavior is sex between a woman and man where the man uses a condom because the condom prevents procreation (as a form of birth control). Provisions (i.e., resources) including energy, time, and attention are exchanged during the act of sex between the woman and man; in addition to any other provisional exchanges which occur as a result of the sexual action, but not during the sexual action.
